Working together to produce ethical products today for a brighter tomorrow.

Ethical production starts with eco-friendly materials & transparency.

Living with integrity requires a deep relationship with the land and the people that produce our everyday needs. Part of our future fantasy is to build a world where we can trace, honour, and respect the work that goes into every product. At EcoDreamr, we are cultivating this dreamy future by carefully selecting each of our eco-friendly materials and partners with a diligent research process.

Ethics over profit

Ethics over profit: This is our mantra

We believe that moving away from the idea of “profit over people” is the best way to build a more conscious collective future. Our standards are deeply rooted in eco-friendly materials, product quality, worker safety, and certifications. A large part of our work involves collaborating with our partners to maintain sustainable processes that minimize our environmental impact—this is made possible through trust, respect, and a mutual commitment to designing a better future for the planet. In addition, the EcoDreamr team is constantly seeking the latest technology and applying strict quality control procedures throughout the process.

We are so proud of the relationships that we have developed with our partners that we want to share their dreamy work with you.

Bamboo - Nature's Miracle!

With the ability to efficiently absorb carbon dioxide and release 30% more oxygen into the air than its equivalent in trees, bamboo is one of the most eco-friendly materials on our planet, often growing up to 1 meter per day in height! Naturally resistant to mold and mildew, bamboo also has incredible antibacterial properties, making it a perfect eco-friendly material for ecological hospitality products such as straws, toothbrushes, and other household materials. Vietnam’s bamboo & rattan industry has a rich diversity of villages that specialize in these ecological handicrafts, with over 720 focused on sustainable bamboo products. As a result, Vietnam has become the world’s third-largest bamboo product exporter!

As we witnessed the global climate crisis intensify in the last decade or so, we decided to become a provider of sustainable bamboo products. Investing in this mighty plant is one of the ways we can counteract the stress being put on the environment while envisioning an alternative ecological reality. Grown in a bamboo forest in northern Vietnam and later processed at a factory in Hanoi, our bamboo is sourced from a partner who shares our sustainability, ethics, and worker safety values. All our sustainable bamboo products are made using natural bamboo and bamboo panels from vetted raw material suppliers. This also means that our bamboo products are 100% organic and never encounter any chemicals or pesticides.

Once the bamboo plant is harvested, it has an incredible capacity to regenerate itself using its root system, which gives back to the soil by providing essential nutrients such as potassium—this truly is the miracle plant of the future!

If you can dream it, it can be made from bamboo!

Rattan - The Future of Sustainable Hospitality

Most commonly found in Vietnam’s tropical forests, rattan is a naturally renewable and eco-friendly material that has been used to produce a variety of household items, such as furniture, home décor, and other handicrafts for centuries. Its impressive strength and flexibility make it ideal for crafting furniture, baskets, and anything else that requires durability. Once dried, this eco-friendly material can be stored for extended periods of time.

To support the sustainable rattan product industry, we partner with artisans in Vietnam who use traditional techniques to create a wide range of ecological hotel and restaurant items, including chairs, baskets, and more. As one of the leading countries for rattan production, Vietnam is well known for artisans who are passionate about creating these sustainable products and preserving this ancient technology.

Vietnam’s rattan industry plays a big role in their national economy, providing employment to thousands of highly skilled workers every year. By supporting ethical partners in this booming industry, we contribute to sustainable employment opportunities that offer fair wages, empowering households across the country.

To weave rattan into our conscious map of the future, EcoDreamr offers a diverse selection of intricately crafted rattan products, all handmade and handwoven. If you are interested in weaving rattan into your company’s future, click here.

Coconut Shells – Dreaming of Repurposed Plants

Thanks to the increasing popularity of coconut water and oil, landfills worldwide are filled with billions of coconut shells each year. Sadly, the incineration of these shells only adds to the CO2 and methane emissions already saturating our atmosphere. By transforming these discarded “waste” products into beautifully crafted bowls, utensils, and more, we help reduce the carbon footprint of coconuts while replacing some of the unsustainable products in the hospitality industry with coconut bowls.

An incredibly durable and more eco-friendly alternative to plastic or wood, coconut husk products are biodegradable and have a much longer lifespan than single-use plastic. This abundant plant is readily available throughout the year, allowing us to repurpose its discarded shells by sending it to an additional manufacturing facility following its primary use. On top of that, the coconut kernel and fiber are also sold to produce a variety of items, such as ropes and rugs, ensuring that no part of this precious plant goes to waste!

We at EcoDreamr work with local farmers in the Southern Vietnamese provinces of Binh Duong, Ba Ria, and others to source organic, sustainably produced coconuts. The resulting eco-friendly material is then crafted in Ho Chi Minh by artisans who transform them into beautiful creations with intricate textures, patterns, and designs. This makes our coconut bowls perfect for safely serving your favorite fruits, salads, and smoothie bowls, while our coconut candles give your business an elegant yet sustainable touch!

Acacia Kitchenware & Tableware - From Forest to Plate

One of the world’s most durable and sustainable hardwoods, acacia produces stunning & durable kitchenware and tableware that add an eco-chic element to any establishment. Thanks to its natural resistance to moisture, acacia is the ideal eco-friendly material for kitchenware and eye-catching tablescapes. At EcoDreamr, we partner with local artisans in Vietnam who handcraft and engrave each acacia product with care, making sure to showcase its beauty in every piece. From charcuterie boards to salad bowls and appetizer trays, our acacia products are made to impress and enhance your dining experience.

Aside from its rich & elegant aesthetic, acacia trees are integral to preservation. In a world where deforestation destroys landscapes at alarming rates, this eco-friendly material is a saving grace—a single acacia tree can grow up to 600-900 cm in just 5 years! Unlike other popular and exotic wood varieties, they are incredibly resilient and adaptive, not requiring any use of pesticides or fertilizers to thrive in a variety of different soil types and climates. Plus, each tree absorbs large quantities of carbon from its environment, acting as nature’s climate crisis mediator. With over 1000 species worldwide, many acacia tree varieties yield other useful and eco-friendly materials, such as gum arabic, and golden wattle & green wattle (extracted from the bark for use in tanning, dyes, inks, and pharmaceuticals).

At EcoDreamr, we exclusively partner with producers who practice responsible acacia sourcing and protect local biodiversity, empowering others to embrace an eco-chic lifestyle. Contact us today for more information on how to infuse your culinary spaces with acacia products!

Reeds - Re-Imagining Biodegradable Straws

While they may be popularly known as an invasive species, reeds are a biodegradable, mildew-resistant, and eco-friendly material ideal for making natural restaurant products, such as straws. Similar to bamboo, the rhizome root system of these resilient plants allows them to regenerate rapidly after being harvested. At the same time, vast fields covered in dry reeds can easily become a fire hazard for the ecosystem and nearby villages.

To reduce the risk and the spread of potential wildfires, our partners in Ukraine harvest the reeds without harming the plant. The result is a bountiful harvest of organic reeds, which are then cleaned with non-toxic bubble baths and steam, processed with ozone, and then dried with infrared rays. Thanks to this meticulous process, they maintain this eco-friendly material’s 100% biodegradable composition and natural integrity. Our partner’s commitment to maintaining a fully closed-loop production system goes as far as to transform any leftover waste into pellets to fuel their entire production cycle; now that’s zero-waste!

As a result, our reed straws offer a unique woody flavor that enhances the overall drinking experience without any risk of toxic exposure. Due to their highly resilient nature, reed straws can withstand temperatures above 100°C without absorbing any liquids or releasing substances into the beverage. Wheat - More than just bread!

While you’ve probably encountered wheat grains in one of your meals, wheat straw is made from an entirely different part of the wheat plant and is abundant in ecological product potential. Wheat stems, a residual product of wheat grain production, can be used in various ways, such as for animal feed.

EcoDreamr’s partners use wheat stems to produce biodegradable wheat straws, a marvel for the restaurant and hotel industry. Our wheat straws are sourced from small, local farmers in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Directly sourcing these raw, eco-friendly materials from farmers or small cooperatives boosts the revenue produced by their crops while also generating employment opportunities within rural communities.

Once harvested, the wheat stems are trimmed to size, washed meticulously using sterile water to eliminate dirt and bacteria, and then dried via a food-grade drying system that both sterilizes and dries the straws. Another benefit of working with small, rural partners is that all our straws are made from non-GMO plant stems. Despite the pervasive nature of GMO wheat in the world today, wheat plants do not need genetic modification to persevere; our partners crossbreed their wheat plants to combine favorable traits that ensure bountiful harvests for the food industries they serve.
